Show description:

Low-Fat Love 101 is a weekly half an hour program about relationships, identity, self-esteem and popular culture. The program features discussions about healthy and unhealthy relationships, settling in different areas of one’s life, and a range of issues related to how we build our individual identities. Most weeks a special expert guest will be intereviewed. Listeners are invited to submit program ideas and questions.

Mission Statement:

The term “Low-Fat Love” (the title of my recent novel) speaks to how people often settle in their relationships either trying to pretend the relationship is better than it really is or hoping it will get better. Settling in love or any aspect of life leads to dissatisfaction. In life and love there is no substitute for the real-deal. Low-Fat Love 101 will explore and challenge relationship myths and address identity-building in the context of popular culture. The goal of Low-Fat Love 101 is to educate and empower listeners to build the lives they really want: healthy, strong, rewarding relationships and a positive sense of
self.
